Using Ente Cash
Ente Cash is a personal finance record-keeping application from Discernmax. By creating an account or using the application, you agree to these terms. Use the service only if you can enter a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you.
Your account and responsibilities
Provide accurate signup details, keep your login credentials private, and use only accounts and records you are authorised to manage. You are responsible for the accuracy of your entries and for checking reports before relying on them. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not misuse the service, attempt to access another user's data, upload unlawful content, or disrupt its operation.
Currencies and financial information
Complete your country and currency settings before using account features. Currency suggestions are estimates and can be changed. Reports and conversions support personal record keeping; they are not investment, tax or financial advice. Ente Cash does not hold your bank deposits or move money merely because you record a transaction.
Reminders and notifications
The app can show account notifications and send browser push or email alerts for reminders, due items, budgets and summaries according to your settings. Some App / push types start on, while notification emails and the daily log reminder start off; browser push requires permission on each device. You can change these choices and reminder times in Settings > Notifications. Alerts are based on information recorded in your account and can be delayed, missed or unavailable because of scheduling, device, browser, network, mail or service conditions. Check your own records and important payment dates; a notification is not proof that an expense was paid or a transaction was entered. Our Privacy Policy explains the related data handling.
AI help and scanning features
Ask EC gives app guidance and general personal finance information. It is an automated service, not a human adviser or a substitute for professional financial advice. It does not have access to your personal account records and cannot make entries for you. AI replies and receipt scans may be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for checking a receipt draft, category, amount, date and payment account before saving it, and for deciding whether to act on general guidance.
UPI QR scanning is offered after an eligible expense is saved. It opens a payment link in a separate app on your device; saving the expense or opening the link does not make or confirm a payment. Check the recipient and amount in your payment app before authorising it. The Privacy Policy explains how questions, voice recordings, receipt images, drafts and QR scans are handled.
Subscriptions and pricing
Our Pricing Policy sets out the annual plans, tax-inclusive prices, trial periods, family add-ons and referral conditions. Review the selected plan, duration and total before authorising payment. No purchase is made just by viewing a price or creating an account. Any recurring debit requires the applicable payment authorisation.
Trials and returning accounts
A first signup is eligible for a 14-day trial. Deleting and recreating an account with the same email is eligible for only 2 days on each subsequent signup. See the Pricing Policy for trial eligibility and the Privacy Policy for retention information.
Referral accounts and rewards
A referral earnings ledger is a record-keeping account. Creating it or entering a balance does not establish an entitlement to payment. See the Pricing Policy for referral discounts, reward eligibility and redemption conditions.
Your data
We use account information and financial records to provide the application as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain your rights in the information you provide. You permit us to process that information to operate the features you request. Do not enter sensitive information that is unnecessary for your records.
Cancellation, availability and changes
Payment cancellation and refunds are governed by our Cancellation / Refund Policy. Service availability can be affected by maintenance and third-party outages. We may restrict access for abuse or unlawful use. Material changes to paid terms will be communicated before they apply, subject to applicable law.
Responsibility and statutory rights
We do not promise particular financial results from using Ente Cash. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user entries, unauthorised credential sharing or third-party outages beyond our control. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. Applicable Indian law governs these terms without removing mandatory protections available to you.
Contact and complaints
For account, policy or service concerns, email support@ente.cash. Describe the issue and provide your registered email when needed for account verification. Never send a password, OTP, PIN or full payment-card details.
